I am an experienced proofreader based in Argyll, Scotland who first started working in proofreading and the quality assurance of text while working for BBC Information, a subsidiary department of the BBC, between 2000 and 2010.
In the past ten years (and counting) I have worked freelance and specialised in academic proofreading across a wide range of disciplines. I advise on English usage and grammar, as well as on good academic structuring. My projects have ranged from undergraduate essays to full PhD theses, journal articles for publication, and books on a variety of topics.
In my spare time I enjoy travel, literature, cinema, golf, and walking my border collie dog.
